Gulf War Hero Autographed Books Sell at Black Bookstore...

June 26, 2004 -- Amazon.com is one of few book sellers who have lead the way to make available three of Simmons' books. Booksurge.com is the Publisher of two of the books and Xlibris.com is the Publisher of the third book. Booksurge.com is the Publisher and Printer of the books, "Gulf War Poetry from One Who Served" and "Operation Desert Shield/Storm Through the Eyes of A Black Lieutenant: Saga 1."

Xlibris.com is an affiliate of Random House books and is the Publisher of the sell-out book, "The Gulf War Anthology of Poetry." Walmart.com has sold out of the book, "The Gulf War Anthology of Poetry." In this book, the former Lieutenant and Gulf War Hero discusses the Gulf War Syndrome, the Anthrax Shots and other issues that have been controversial issues and concerns for Gulf War Veterans of the first war with Saddam Hussein. "The Gulf War Anthology of Poetry" has become a Collector's item.

Former Lieutenant William J. Simmons, Sr. wrote the book, "The Gulf War Anthology of Poetry in 1996" and did not realize that what he was writing would eventually come to pass before his very eyes and to the world. Simmons met Senator John Kerry at the Vietnam Memorial in downtown Columbia, SC in 2003 and again at the SC Democratic Convention. At this time, Simmons gave Senator Kerry a copy of the book, "The Gulf War Anthology of Poetry." The Reverend Al Sharpton received a copy of the book, "Operation Desert Shield/Storm Through the Eyes of A Black Lieutenant: Saga 1." Simmons planned the first fundraising party in Columbia, SC for the former Presidential Democratic Candidate and attended many events for Reverend Sharpton.

Simmons plans many booksignings to spread the word in regards to issues and concerns of Gulf War Vets and other Veterans who have served this country... In the coming months, Simmons will be having booksignings in Myrtle Beach, SC; Columbia, SC; Charleston, SC; Nashville, TN; Wilmington, NC; Charlotte, Raleigh, NC; Richmond, VA; Jacksonville, FL; Birmingham, AL; Augusta, GA; Atlanta, GA, etc... Contact your local stores for further information about booksignings for this Veteran who stands for truth and justice even though he has faced and overcame many obstacles; such as, racism, hatred and other negatives that have tried to stop him...
